Two women in progress

Two special women in progress. I have LOTS of work to finish by mid next week, more on that later. Meanwhile, lovely weekend to one and all, may it continue to be sunny wherever you are!

Prudence Flint is one of my favourite local artists, and I have been thinking about her work ALOT while making these.

I love those, Sandra! Every time I think you myst by now have run out of sweet silly ideas you come up with new ones! The Woman Who Does Not Get Flattened By A House is my favorite - because of the weird subject matter - but the boat woman is an interesting composition and a whole new take on sailing!

De manera increíble me siento retratada en ambas mujeres... he sentido el peso de la casa, y también siendo barco, capitán, y marinero de la familia... la pasiva aceptación... guau! soy yo!! a veces....

Hooray!! Thank you Alice -- yes I feel it often too. Maybe some men feel it as well, perhaps I should be fair?! ;)
