I painted a picture on a piece of rectangular wood -- and it even has a sort-of background! I almost feel like a normal person. It was inspired by a pair of books which sit on top of my bookshelf in the studio, below. A love that could never be.
I may yet again paint a picture in a 'normal' shape, and I may even paint a background again. I quite enjoyed that exercise.

"With these hungry eyes
One look at you and I can't disguise
I've got hungry eyes
I feel the magic between you and I"
This painting is all sorts of wonderful! I feel their heart break and longing....,ay have to go and read some poetry now...or listen to bad 80's ballads....

Julianne -- if I wasn't already listening to The Angels, I'd curse you for putting that song in my head....!
Thanks SO much Julianne, Jen, Ola (how lovely, it's been ages!), Miss Pen Pen, Tracie and Jenni.
I think i've found my calling.

wow, this piece is really lovely. And in keeping with the 80's theme
Her hair is Harlow gold,
Her lips sweet surprise
Her hands are never cold
She's got Bette Davis eyes
She'll turn her music on
You won't have to think twice
She's pure as New York snow
She got Bette Davis eyes
Thanks so much Ramona!
How evil of you to try and put that song in my head....!!
Thank GOODNESS I'm listening to Come Said The Boy by Mondo Rock already....
