Just glued together, above: a snail carrying a Brac style house. Not sure if that will be a hanging or standing piece. Above that is an old shop display perspex apple adapted from a fabric design that I made for seed. That one is waiting to be successfully glued back together -- nothing has worked so far! More mushrooms. I am quite fond of the one on the right. Very glad right now to have a second table in the studio, where I can put all these things in progress. It's actually a giant light box, which is very handy.
Lovin' all of it... have you seen my other blog alongthegreenway with my fungi finds... and Ms S I saw your work again in a photo of the Armadale shop in the latest Vogue Living!! p68
I am very excited to see the new Vogue Living -- thanks Sandra for letting me know.
And Sally -- I will remember to take more shots around the studio and post them. I know what you mean as I love to peek inside people's studios too. :)
This blog is both a record of my work and an attempt to contribute to the vast inspiration that thousands of other creative people have given me via the internet.
I worked for many years in the fashion industry, designing prints, textiles and developing products for children. I now work as a freelance illustrator and make a variety of work under my own name. Some of the things that I make can be found in my etsy shop and in galleries and stores around Australia.
