A house on fire and two new clocks

There is a new house on fire wearing slippers,
a very sophisticated clock wearing a pinstripe suit

and another clock with sailor tattoos in the shop.

Thank you thank you international ladies!

Alice, it is true that the sound of a fire truck is horrible. But you are right --if I have understood you correctly -- it is a beautiful one too, especially if it manages to save the person or object from the worst possible fate.

It makes me shiver to think about it!

I love your house-A-fire! And the sailor's clock, whatever happened to his finger? Perhaps an unfortunate game of 5 finger fillet?

Ha ha! Thanks Lola! I don't know what five finger fillet is but I like the sound of it! The joke is that the arm is meant to be severed, but kept to display the ticking watch. So a bandage seems a bit cursory under those circumstances.

If that makes any sense whatsoever...
