Further to my previous post:
Sorry to be a whinger -- I am just getting really frustrated by the extent of my back pain. I thought that doing something that required standing rather than sitting would do the trick, but instead I have a different kind of back pain now. Anyway, here is my 1.2 x 1.2 metre acrylic on plywood portrait of my lounge room, in progress. The drawers of the kitchen dresser are serving well as a semi adjustable easel.
Please look after your back -- you only get one!

Thanks so much Kim and Meg, lovely to hear from you both. I hope you are enjoying the warm weather!!
Really loving your new painting Sandra, and your kitchen cupboard! I notice Mr Mushroom is keeping a watchful eye on proceedings. God, I'm right with you with the back pain. There is nothing worse. Sitting at a computer all day has done it for me. So debilitating. Hope you're on the med soon. x
Um, I hope you're on the *mend* soon. Although maybe some med will help!
Yikes! You poor thing! Hard to get relief from a sore back. Hope you find some way to work and be free of pain. The painting is wonderful!
Thank you so much Sass and Julianne. My back is sore but my heart is warm!!!! So sorry to hear about your back too Sass -- unsurprising given the desk job. Blah!
this painting is lovely Sandra. I am so so sorry to hear about your back - I sympathise. I'm having to work in 30 minute blocks then walk around for 30 just to keep the spasms at bay.
Aaagghhh!!! Sounds bloody awful Ramona!
Kids -- look after that back. How anyone can sit at a laptop all day is beyond me.
