I've started a new scarf

I can't keep away from knitting for too long.  I am trying to do something different to the usual fair isle with this scarf design.  Unfortunately intarsia (where you work in blocks of colour with separate yarn strands as above) does not have quite the same meditative quality as working fair isle (where you carry all yarns across the entire row to make smaller, and usually repeated, motifs).

oh me likey. I always start scarves and never finish them. It's that last 50 rows - I just can't face it!

I am really loving that random colour/row thing. I must show you my knitted scarves that have a bit of random colour coordination. :) I went through a stage a few years back.

Oh my god Ramona I don't even want to do the next 50 rows! I think that my scarf is going to end up a hot water bottle cover -- at best.
Lovely to hear from you too Jo -- I look forward to seeing your scarves!!
