I had been wanting to make this cushion for a while, and this week I finally got around to it. Post-it notes are highly recommended for marking rows. The finished cushion being sewn together -- it is backed in heavy denim fabric. It's finished and in the shop.

& I love every $#1!~%* stitch of it, sadly it just wouldn't work with my wee one's being wee :)
Hi Jenni, Kitty and Jen -- thanks so much for your comments, I am glad that you like the cushion. Because not everyone does, you know....and when those people visit, that might be the time to sit on it, as you have suggested, Jen.... ;)
This blog is both a record of my work and an attempt to contribute to the vast inspiration that thousands of other creative people have given me via the internet.
I worked for many years in the fashion industry, designing prints, textiles and developing products for children. I now work as a freelance illustrator and make a variety of work under my own name. Some of the things that I make can be found in my etsy shop and in galleries and stores around Australia.
