CUTE is GOOD! I look forward to seeing what evolves. And I'm blown away by your friend's sewing skills. Have been thinking more and more about doing a couple of sewing courses. Mum used to help me sew in my early 20's, but she would do all the hard bits(!) even though they were pretty simple patterns. It was a great feeling coming home with 3-4 items. It would be sensational to get jiggy with the whole make it yourself drive - maybe someting to aim for at the end of the year.

I think that 'cute' is inherently in me but I just don't want it to be my raison d'etre. There's plenty of good cute stuff out there already. I am so happy that Jason has inspired you! Sewing courses are good and I think that if you find a pattern or two that you like you can just keep making things in different fabrics from them.
